Carers Helpline

A friendly voice at the end of the phone. We can answer your questions relating to caring responsibilities, tell you about local services that provide support to carers or simply provide 'a listening ear’.

There’s no premium rate call charges to use the service, just the price of a local call.

Telephone the Carers Helpline on 0151 670 0777 or email them for more details.

Carers Counselling Service

Did you know that WIRED have a free Carers Counselling Service?

Counselling is an opportunity for you to talk to someone who is an outsider; a skilled listener who will not judge you or the things you say.

Counselling does not solve all your problems but it can help you with finding your own solutions, getting a better understanding and clarifying your thoughts and feelings. It is done in a safe and trusting environment which may help you to say things that perhaps you might not like others to hear or feel they may not understand.

All of our counsellors are volunteers and training towards their Diploma. They work towards the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy Code of Ethics.

If you feel you would benefit from counselling or would like further information please call Sam on 0151 670 1500 or email counselling.coordinator@wired.me.uk
